PR Assistant (Temp-to-Perm)

Amorepacific US’ Luxury Division is seeking a temporary PR Assistant with 0-1 years (including internships) of beauty PR experience. This is an opportunity to become a part of a fast-growing ambitious and dynamic team and work for a global company at the forefront of K-beauty that has been driving innovation in the beauty space for over 70 years. This role will focus on supporting all PR efforts for Amorepacifc, Sulwhasoo, Primera and Goutal brands with potential portfolio expansion. Responsibilities: Assist in managing core day-to-day media relations Support Team Leader with proactive pitching in accordance with launch calendars and other PR initiatives for Luxury Division brands (Amorepacifc, Sulwhasoo, Primera and Goutal) Execute product send-outs to media via messenger and UPS Submit invoices for processing in a timely manner, review for accuracy Assist in planning and execution of PR events (new product launches, desksides, one-on-one media meetings, interviews with the President/company executives, etc.) Support beauty awards submissions and update placement/opportunity trackers Daily monitoring for placements Compile data for weekly and monthly PR reports Manage product inventory, place product orders and liaise with the warehouse, when required Draft agendas/recaps for all relevant meetings and share with the team in a timely fashion Assist with all media mailings, including concept development, media list compilation, sourcing materials and execution Support the team with digital influencer outreach and relationship building Support the PR team on all other PR-related initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Communications, PR, Journalism or Marketing 0-1 years (including internships) of PR experience; beauty and skincare industries preferred but not required; prior PR agency experience is preferred Must have strong understanding of the beauty space, pop culture as well as seasonal/celebrity trends Ability to work well in a small, high-visibility team but also work independently, meeting deadlines and completing projects with minimal supervision Must possess strong writing, communication and presentation skills Must be highly detail-oriented and deadline driven; an ambitious self-starter who is looking to bring their PR skills/interests to the next level Can-do, “roll up your sleeves” attitude Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; familiarity with Cision Highly organized, results oriented, resourceful, resilient, meticulous, takes initiative, and is willing to be “hands-on” when required Must possess a strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, willingness/ability to travel and work beyond standard work hours when required
