Based in New York City and reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will manage and optimise Bermudas success in the business to business segment (B2B) through marketing initiatives that influence conversion of group and FIT travel to Bermuda.Key responsibilities will include: Work with the Director of Marketing and CSMO to research, plan, execute and measure traditional and online advertising activities that support groups and travel trade. Oversee the writing and editing of content for collateral, which includes printed brochures, presentations, website, emails, surveys, newsletters, direct mail and video. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing and sales platforms. Collaborate with Assistant Director, Digital Content to manage the trade portions of the website, including developing new content, case studies, itineraries as well as promotional offers. Coordinate with sales team and meeting planners to identify, research and create a minimum of four group case studies (including copy and imagery) annually. Coordinate, research, draft, review, edit and proof content to deploy quarterly enewsletters to travel trade and group decision makers. Participate with Director of Marketing in coordinating marketing strategy with OTAs/Consortia/Tour Operators. Ensure Bermuda content is always updated and timely (including copy, images and banners). Develop and implement best practices related to hotel promotions including timelines, communications, processes, legal, analytics, reporting and website updates. Communicate promotion initiatives to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure hotel lists are continually updated. Work with the Director of Marketing to manage promotional offers and related marketing effects including e-newsletters, website, legal, internal projects, etc. Coordinate, manage and attend bi-monthly leisure sales call and quarterly hotel meetings. Maintain well-informed working knowledge of all hotels, attractions, and services in Bermuda. Communicate updates in a clear manner to marketing/pr (e.g., for newsletters, social, press releases) as well as update on website. Ensure proper, regular logging of activity in CRM system, providing monthly production reports to CSMO/CIO/DOM. Provide daily updates during promotions. Analyze results and recommend courses of action. Monitor and report relevant travel trends & strategic implications. Perform other related duties, special projects and assignments as required. Applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience: - Bachelors in Business or related field preferred Five years experience in Tourism or related industry Strong analytical, communication, writing and proofing skills Knowledge of current and emerging distribution trends Proven effective negotiating and persuasion abilities Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, must be able to work effectively at board level internally and with external client companies Experience with CMS systems High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel Must be able to uphold BTAs mission and vision with a sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect Willingness to travel Salary range $70-80K/annually * The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
