SUMMARY

Primary role is to (a) Be a liaison between the business and technology, responsible for documenting business processes, alongside managing projects relating to business software; and (b)Be a project manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

? Communication responsibilities between the business and technical teams as and when

required.

? Perform testing quality assurance and tests leading to the change/rollout of reports, store

systems and hardware.

? Understand business requirements and document needs leading up to development of software

for the business.

? Documentation of company procedures down to the granular level using Microsoft Visio.

? Good knowledge of SAP systems and various modules of SAP - FICO, SD, MM, POS, Retail, BI etc

? Managing large scale projects keeping budgets and scope in mind.

? Communicating with vendors and software developers to translate technical to business needs.

? Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

? Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

? Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

? Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

? Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPRERIENCE/PREFERENCES

? Bachelor s or equivalent work experience

? PMP certification needed


KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS

? Customer facing experience.

? Prior experience with retail companies, and retail systems.

? Best practice knowledge of how company departments are run and organized.

? Excellent communication skills

? Keen sense of customer service and ability to work under pressure

? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

? Team player

? Ability to determine when escalation is necessary & follow through to resolution

? Strong familiarity with project management software

? Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-

solving capabilities.

? Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.

? Flexible during times of change.

? Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.

? Strong written and oral communication skills.

? Strong interpersonal skills.

? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
