Due to growth we are looking for bright, articulate, career-driven sales professionals to join our business development division based in our Bristol office. Global Business Development Team. Our business development division engages with solution providers across the globe at the forefront of cutting-edge innovation and new technology. Working with well-known tech giants to Silicon Valley start-ups they engage solely with SVP and C-suite executives, helping them to acquire new customers by positioning them and their advanced solutions in front of key decision makers from the largest enterprises in Europe and North America. Business Development - Role Purpose. Working in a fast-paced environment with talented and motivated colleagues, you will develop a robust pipeline and drive market share by securing new business opportunities while nurturing and developing relationships with existing clients. You will manage the entire customer lifecycle, applying the Challenger Sale methodology, which is supported by the CEB. You will be engaging with the SVP/ C-suite executives, speaking with decision makers about their strategic objectives and communicating our capability to directly match their solutions to live customer projects, based on unique customer project intelligence. As our business development executives are industry/ technology specialists, you will also be responsible for developing a continuous pipeline of sales leads by researching the multiple layers of your market to identify organisations as sponsorship prospects for GDS Summits. As GDS Group delivers summits across the globe, the role will incorporate international travel to Europe and US. Required skills and experience:. Due to the training programme provided business development experience is not essential, instead we are looking for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their employment history. Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to hit goals, succeed and continuously develop. Stellar communication skills both written and verbal. Able to consult with senior level decision makers with authority and confidence. Intelligent, authentic and articulate with the ability to deliver a solution-based sales approach. Inquisitive: When speaking with SVP and C-Level executives its vital to have researched who they are and what they are trying to achieve within their given market. An interest in disruptive technology would be advantageous. Desired skills and experience:. Good understanding of buying and decision-making process of an organisation.
