This candidate will be responsible for acting as a key liaison between manufacturing sales and the customer. Ensures that overall customer quality and regulatory requirements and expectations are met. Manages various aspects of Quality and Environmental management systems. ResponsibilitiesFacilitate resolution of proactive quality initiatives, continuous improvements, preventative actions including proofing for errors/mistakes etc.Use statistical analysis tools and methods for problem solving (DMAIC process)Improve and maintain the Quality Management SystemCreate periodic quality reports as required by HeadquartersFollow the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggest ways for continual improvementBased upon compliant trend analysis establishes corrective/preventative actions as required, and develops, implements, and monitors methods and procedures to continuously monitor and improve customer satisfactionSupports Quality internal and external audits. Serves as an internal auditorWork across cross-functional teams to drive improvementsPerforms other related duties as required and assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field3+ years of related experience as a Quality EngineerStrong communication skillsLean Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt trainingExperience with ISO/AFT 16949 quality systemsQuality system audit experienceASQ certified, preferredSAP experience desirableTravel up to 20%
