The National Sales Director will play a key role within Koupon Media, driving new revenue and increasing our CPG client base. S/he will lead new business development and client relationship management among key Koupon Media CPG clients and develop relationships with new ones. Ideal candidates uncover business needs, leverage Koupon’s current product suite, and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements. This role works in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment. Establish a collaborative and productive business relationship between Koupon Media and key CPG companies and their marketing agencies. Create and drive the entire sales cycle from needs analysis, presentation and campaign development, sale, program results and renewal with prospective accounts.
Consult with advertisers to understand their objectives and initiatives and build effective campaigns that support these and utilize KM’s core promotional solutions.
Demonstrate thought leadership and exhibit strong curiosity and passion for the evolving digital, promotion and mobile landscape with a focus on understanding the client’s business requirements and the metrics that drive their success.
Grow business and manage a robust deal pipeline with target partners and assigned prospects.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, emails, and follow-up activities using our CRM, Hubspot.
Attain objectives / quota's assigned by management.
5-10 years experience in digital or promotional sales working with CPG companies and demonstrating an impressive record of achievement.
Established relationships with marketing decision makers at CPG companies and agencies.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
High energy, self-motivated, flexible team builder who sets high standards for performance.
Strong desire to be part of a fast-paced, established technology start-up.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
Strong work ethic and willingness to travel.
BA/BS degree, MBA a plus.
The National Director of Brand Partnerships will be ready to “roll up his/her sleeves” and dive into the Koupon Platform in order to guide the development and growth of our brand business. Individuals must demonstrate thought leadership and exhibit strong curiosity and passion for the evolving digital, promotion and mobile landscape with a focus on understanding the client’s business requirements and the metrics that drive their success. This is an individual contributor role that has the opportunity to develop into a larger team. Travel of up to 20% is required with this role.
