The Position:
The Director of Sales and Business Development will generate new business-to-business opportunities, focusing on identifying, engaging and converting prospective customers into users.Prospects will include alternative asset managers with private equity and/or credit strategies. The ideal candidate is highly ambitious, competitive, and results-oriented with a strong interest in the asset management space.This position will be based in New York City with extensive travel as required.

Responsibilities
Source, develop and convert prospects through regular outbound calling and demo meetings with end-users
Continually monitor client needs and work with product development to ensure end-user functional needs are met through active listening and effective questioning
orecast, track, and report sales performance to management
Understand the competitive landscape at all times, continually working to ensure that Olympus maintains a best-in-class product offering

Qualifications/Requirements
Four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant program of study
10+ years of experience in sales roles within SaaS, enterprise software, analytics solutions or data products in the financial services industry
A strong technical understanding and passion for data solutions
Ability to effectively communicate with senior level decision makers
Ability to receive and implement coaching and feedback to apply best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects
Superior attention to detail
