We are looking for a Vice President (VP) of Marketing for our fast growing international startup , to help us leverage the momentum we have created and dominate our category. PlayerMaker is scaling athlete performance by connecting footwear. Recently marked as one of the fastest-growing sport-tech companies in the world, we are proudly supporting the best Football (soccer) players and teams around the world. The VP Reporting the CEO, this is an exciting senior leadership position that will be key to the company's development and growth into new markets. As part of the job you will structure, direct and oversee our Marketing department and efforts. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of Marketing and team management background in B2B startups/organizations and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including branding, digital and traditional marketing. Bottom line : Strategize and implement a full cycle user-journey, based on B2B funnel KPIs: Leads> MQLs> SQLs. These should lead to sales who will then feedback the VP efforts and will help him/her to optimize and improve the marketing activity. About the job: Lead the development of the strategic direction of the global brand across campaigns, content, communications, demand generation, influencer marketing and partnerships to build brand awareness and drive sales pipeline Manage the execution of all elements of the marketing plan (PR, BTL), from briefing agencies through to delivery Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, our customers, our partners and our competitors to ensure constant improvement Determine positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications Develop and execute global marketing strategy to drive demand Generate a data-driven hypothesis for improving marketing performance, execute A/B tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics to separate signal from noise Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights Managing suppliers and service providers Developing schedules and maintaining deadlines What Youll Need: Min 5 years of actual experience in leading marketing teams Any kind of sport as a hobby Proven leadership and teamwork skills Proven creative approach Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing programmers simultaneously Knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation, Google Analytics, paid/social interfaces and email systems Experienced performance insights (working with Linkedin, Adwords, Twitter) Excellent command of English Commerciality (performance management and budget management) Preferred qualifications: Experience creating and working on marketing campaigns and narrative in the football or other team sport market. Ability to develop strategic communication approaches to market challenges. Strong analytical and communication skills. Dream, eat and feel football.
