RAILS, a leading contemporary fashion brand, is looking to expand our domestic sales team, recruiting for wholesale sales reps and assistants on the East Coast. This role will be based in NY, and is a key role in our growing sales team.

Candidates must have wholesale sales experience within the contemporary fashion market, and existing relationships with relevant retailers and buyers. One must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be targets oriented, think strategically and actively execute sales initiatives. We expect this person to be outgoing, motivated, and engage in continual direct sales activities to grow the business.

Responsibilities include:
Present four seasonal collections per year via trade shows, showroom appointments, road trips, email and phone outreach. This role will require travel.
Account management of existing accounts and territories, including seasonal sales, in season reorders, selling reports and sales figures analysis
Ability to set, monitor, and achieve seasonal and yearly growth targets, requiring analysis of individual accounts and full territory sales figures, and other key metrics
Proactive outreach to new target accounts
Ability to merchandise and confidently present the collection, within a showroom and tradeshow environment
Seasonal sales calendar planning alongside sales, design, PD / production teams, and ability to work to strict deadlines
Must have an understanding of the contemporary fashion market, and competitive landscape, from both a product and PR / marketing perspective
Close coordination with in-house design, production, sales, and management teams for full understanding of entire business
Report to Sales Director on all sales initiatives

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Existing relationships with contemporary buyers and retailers
- Ability to analyze sales figures and data into actionable insights
- Must have full working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v look ups
- Creative thinker who is organized and efficient
- Independent and Driven for Personal and Professional success
- Previous fashion sales experience required
