What you'll do

In a nutshell: Get paid to play with dogs! Whether it's throwing tennis balls, playing tug, or giving extra scritches and pets, you'll be surrounded by dogs (and maybe even some cats) —all while making some extra money too. Successful sitters earn up to $1000/month or more!

You can work from home, offering boarding or sitting, or around your neighborhood dog walking, house sitting, drop-in visits, and even doggy day care.

How it works

Create a profile on Rover.com that shows how awesome you are as a pet sitter. Once it's approved, pet parents will be able to find you on our site and contact you via your Rover profile for their pet sitting needs.

You'd make a great Rover sitter If you love dogs, have a flexible schedule, and have previous experience caring for dogs or other animals.

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Pass a general background check
  • Verifiable phone number (landline or mobile)
  • A genuine love for animals (and experience caring for them too)
